Nancy Lear has been assisting buyers and sellers since 2013, starting out as an assistant to a real estate agent where she learned the business from the inside out. That invaluable, hands-on experience prepared her to become licensed and professionally involved as an agent five years later. Combined with a deeply diversified background, that rock-solid foundation is what makes her such a steady guide for buyers and sellers across the Catskills and Hudson Valley.
Nancy lives in Hancock / Lordville and works in Walton, and she never tires of the scenic drive between them. The beauty of this area is her daily inspiration—bears, eagles, deer, and the beautiful mountains and waterways that make the region unlike anywhere else.
Before real estate, Nancy owned a dog grooming business and worked as a home health aide and certified nurse aide. Those years taught her patience, care, and how to connect with people from every walk of life—skills she brings to every transaction.
At heart, Nancy is a boho hippie homesteader girl. A homesteader and homestead consultant, she loves teaching others how to garden, can, keep bees, make candles and soap, and live more sustainably. You’ll often spot her in her old pickup truck—the one covered in flower stickers.
Married with four grown boys, Nancy has called both New York and Connecticut home. She brings warmth, resourcefulness, and a genuine love of home to every client she serves—whether you’re buying your first place or selling the family homestead, she’ll treat your goals like her own.
